Product Description

The BMC FM554/04 Performance Air Filter is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory air filter on Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R models, including 600 and 636 variants from 2009 onwards. Designed to increase airflow into the engine while maintaining excellent filtration efficiency, this high-flow panel filter uses multi-layer oiled cotton gauze media to trap contaminants as small as 7 microns while allowing more air to reach the intake. This enhanced airflow can improve throttle response and overall engine performance on both street and performance-oriented riding.

Built with BMC's full molding construction, the FM554/04 features a one-piece design without welded joints for increased durability. The epoxy-coated alloy mesh protects the filter media from fuel vapors and humidity, ensuring reliability under varied riding conditions. This washable and reusable filter installs directly into the factory airbox with no modifications required, making it a reliable upgrade over the restrictive OEM paper element.
