Product Description

The BMC FB224/01 is a direct-fit drop-in panel air filter covering a broad range of Mercedes-Benz V8 applications using the M278 4.6L and M157 5.5L Biturbo engines, spanning the CL, E, G, GL/GLS, GLE, ML, SL, CLS, and S-Class platforms from approximately 2010 through 2019. It is also compatible with the 1999-2010 Fiat Punto II and 2000-2003 Lancia Y 1.2L 16V. The filter installs directly into the factory airbox without modification and replaces the OEM paper element with a multi-layer oiled cotton gauze medium that filters down to 7 microns while flowing up to 40% more air than the stock filter.
