The BMC FB870/20 is a direct-fit drop-in panel air filter engineered specifically for the Mercedes-AMG GT platform (C190/R190), covering all first-generation variants from the entry GT and GT S through to the GT C, GT R, GT Roadster, and GT Black Series. All variants use the 4.0L twin-turbocharged M178 V8 engine and require 2 filters per vehicle due to the dual airbox layout - this listing covers 1 filter. The filter replaces Mercedes-Benz OEM part A1780940004 with no modification to the vehicle or airbox required.

Built using BMC's Full Moulding process from multi-layer oiled cotton gauze, the FB870/20 flows up to 40% more air than the OEM paper filter while capturing contaminants to a finer 7-micron threshold.
