Product Description

The BMC FM764/20 Performance Air Filter is engineered to replace the original restrictive paper air filter on BMW R-series motorcycles, including R 1200 and R 1250 GS, R, RS, and RT models. Built with multi-layer oiled cotton gauze media, this high-flow filter increases airflow to your engine while maintaining excellent filtration to protect against dust and contaminants. The improved air delivery can enhance throttle response and overall engine breathing for both street and touring riding.

Manufactured using BMC's full molding process, the FM764/20 features a one-piece design with no welded seams for enhanced durability. An epoxy-coated alloy mesh protects the filtration media from fuel vapors and moisture, and the washable, reusable construction provides long-term service life and reduced maintenance costs compared to disposable filters. This filter installs directly into the factory airbox without modification. Fitment is confirmed for the listed R 1200 and R 1250 models; coverage for later model years not yet listed by the manufacturer, such as 2024-2025, is currently unconfirmed at the time of listing.
