Product Description

The BMC FM599/04RACE Race Air Filter is engineered as a performance upgrade for the Kawasaki ZX-10R 1000 shown here from 2011 through 2015. This race-spec filter replaces the restrictive OEM paper element with a high-flow multi-layered cotton gauze media that allows a greater volume of clean air to enter the engine, potentially improving throttle response and performance - particularly under track or spirited riding conditions.

Built with BMC's full-molded one-piece construction, this filter eliminates weak welded joints for enhanced durability. The epoxy-coated alloy mesh surrounds the oiled cotton gauze to protect the media from fuel vapors and moisture, while the washable and reusable design extends filter life and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
