Fitment Notes

• Fits the K-series throttle body used on the RSX Type-S and EP3 Civic Si. Not compatible with RSX Base (K20A3 non-Si) or other Honda/Acura models using different throttle body configurations.
• The TPS is internally clocked differently for each vehicle application. Confirm your exact vehicle (RSX Type-S vs. Civic Si) and model year before ordering to ensure the correct clocking orientation is supplied. Installing a TPS with incorrect clocking will cause drivability and ECU issues.
• Compatible with both the OEM K-series throttle body and BLOX Racing 70mm and 72mm billet throttle bodies.
• Not available for Honda models with single-point ignition systems.
• A gasket is included - the gasket between the TPS and throttle body should be replaced any time the TPS is removed.
• A Version 2 (BXIM-10401-V2) is also available, adding a billet aluminum protective casing over the TPS body for additional protection from engine grime, debris, and vibration.

Product Description

The BLOX Racing BXIM-10401 is a brand-new replacement throttle position sensor (TPS) for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S and 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3), both using Honda's K-series engine family. The TPS is a potentiometer mounted to the throttle body that communicates throttle plate position to the ECU via variable voltage output. Failure or degradation of the TPS results in drivability symptoms including erratic idle, hesitation, throttle response issues, and improper fuel trims.
