The Bilstein 24-287449 is a rear B6 Performance shock absorber engineered as a performance upgrade for the 2019-2023 Volvo XC40 and XC40 Recharge, covering all trim levels across both standard and all-electric variants. Compared to the OE damper, the B6 Performance delivers noticeably sharper handling response, improved lane stability, and more composed body control - all without requiring a spring change or any suspension modifications. The 46mm monotube gas-pressure design with application-specific valve settings ensures the shock performs consistently whether navigating urban roads, highway stretches, or spirited driving routes.
