Product Description

The Bilstein 24-305174 is a B6 Performance rear monotube shock absorber designed as a direct performance upgrade for the 2018-2021 BMW X3 (G01 chassis) and 2019-2021 BMW X4 (G02 chassis) across xDrive30i, sDrive30i, and M40i variants in both RWD and AWD configurations. It replaces the factory rear damper with Bilstein's 46mm monotube gas pressure unit calibrated approximately 20% firmer than OEM - delivering improved body roll control, sharper cornering response, reduced brake dive, and enhanced high-speed stability without altering factory ride height or requiring spring changes.

Bilstein is BMW's OEM supplier and is specifically familiar with the G01/G02 platform's rear suspension requirements. The B6's application-specific valving was developed and road-tested for the G01/G02's rear multi-link geometry and SAV weight characteristics.
