Fitment Notes

• Position: Rear - sold individually. This shock is not side-specific; one unit fits either the driver or passenger side. Two units are required for a complete rear axle installation.
• Designed for vehicles with 0-5" of rear lift - covers a wide range from factory ride height through heavily lifted builds.
• 4WD fitment only for all listed vehicles. Does not fit 2WD/RWD variants.
• For GM SUV applications, excludes Z55 AutoRide (electronic) suspension. Verify your build code does not include AutoRide before ordering.
• An optional billet aluminum reservoir clamp (Bilstein #11-176015) is available separately for a cleaner, more compact reservoir installation.
• Installation hardware and reservoir mounting bracket are included.

The Bilstein 25-311761 is a B8 5160 rear shock absorber designed to span one of the broadest lift ranges in the Bilstein truck lineup - covering 0" to 5" of rear lift in a single direct-fit application-tuned package. It fits a wide range of full-size 4WD platforms: the GMT800-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban 1500, and Avalanche 1500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500 (2000-2006), plus Dodge Ram 1500 (2006-2008), Ram 2500 (1994-2013), and Ram 3500 (1994-2012) - all in 4WD configuration. The 46mm monotube design provides the permanent gas-to-fluid separation needed for consistent, fade-free performance, while the remote reservoir takes thermal management well beyond what a traditional monotube shock can handle, sustaining full damping output on long, demanding off-road runs where conventional shocks overheat and fade.
