The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus 35-158745 is a front strut assembly engineered for the MK6 Volkswagen Golf, GTI, Golf R, and Jetta Sportwagen - all without Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). Built on a 36mm monotube upside-down platform with sport-specific valving, it is designed exclusively for use with aftermarket lowering springs and delivers the body control, reduced dive, and sharper turn-in that a properly lowered MK6 demands. This is not a stock-spring strut - pair it with a quality lowering spring from H&R, Eibach, or similar for the full benefit.

Fitment is specific to strut housings with a 55mm outside diameter, which covers the standard MK6 Golf and Jetta Sportwagen platform. The strut bolts directly to OEM mounting points on both FWD and AWD configurations with no modification needed. Two units are required per vehicle - one for each side, as the part number applies to both driver and passenger sides.
