Product Description

The Bilstein 24-060356 B8 Performance Plus Rear Shock is engineered as a direct-fit performance replacement for the rear suspension of select European sport compact vehicles manufactured from the mid-1990s through the mid-2000s. Designed around monotube gas-pressure technology with application-specific valving, this shock enhances handling precision, rear stability, and overall control compared to worn factory dampers, especially when paired with lowering springs or sport suspension setups.

This rear shock installs using original factory mounting points and maintains proper suspension geometry without requiring modifications. Its robust yellow-painted steel body and included protective boot ensure corrosion resistance and long service life. Sold individually, shocks should be replaced in pairs on the rear axle to maintain balanced damping performance and improved ride quality on vehicles like Audi A3/S3, Audi TT Quattro, SEAT Leon, Skoda Octavia 4x4, and Volkswagen Golf/Bora 4motion models equipped with sport-oriented suspension.
