The Bilstein 33-305288 B8 5100 rear shock absorber is engineered as a performance-oriented upgrade for lifted Jeep Gladiator JT vehicles from 2020 through 2025. Built with Bilstein's monotube gas-charged construction and velocity-sensitive digressive piston valving, this shock delivers a smoother, more controlled ride over rough terrain and improved handling compared to many stock rear shocks. It's specifically tuned for rear lift heights of approximately 1.5-2.5".

This shock installs directly into the vehicle's OEM rear mounting points without modification, maintaining proper suspension geometry while accommodating lifted setups. The zinc-plated finish helps resist corrosion, and the protective bellows boot shields the shock body from debris. Sold individually, it's recommended to use matched shocks on both sides for balanced performance and ride quality.
