Product Description

The Bilstein 24-285681 B8 5100 Rear Shock Absorber is engineered as a performance monotube gas-pressurized shock specifically tuned for the rear suspension of lifted Ram 2500 4WD trucks. Built with a velocity-sensitive digressive piston and smooth body design, this shock improves damping response and ride quality on vehicles with approximately a 2" rear lift compared to stock shocks.

This rear shock installs directly into the OE mounting locations using existing hardware and does not require modifications. The corrosion-resistant zinc finish and included protective boot help extend service life. Sold individually, it's recommended to install matching shocks on both sides for balanced suspension performance. This unit is not intended for air leveling suspension systems and is designed for lifted applications to maintain proper travel and control.
