Product Description

The Bilstein 24-178525 B8 Performance Plus rear shock pairs with the front B8 Performance Plus struts to complete a sport-tuned suspension setup on the 2011-2016 BMW 5 Series (F10) and 2013-2018 6 Series Gran Coupe (F06). Its shortened, monotube gas pressure design provides the spring preload needed for lowering or factory sport springs, delivering a sportier, more dynamic driving feel.

Unlike conventional multi-tube shocks, performance doesn't degrade with age, use, or heat, so no manual adjustment is needed over the shock's life. Installation includes factory-style hardware, though replacing or properly reinstalling the bump stop and protective boot is important to avoid premature damage - sold individually per rear side, so two units complete the rear axle.
