Product Description

The Bilstein 24-010269 B6 Rear Auxiliary Shock Absorber is a high-quality performance replacement engineered for classic General Motors trucks, vans, and SUVs from the 1970s through the mid-1990s. Designed as part of Bilstein's Performance (B6/4600) series, this monotube shock uses a velocity-sensitive digressive piston and gas pressure technology to provide consistent damping, improved stability, and enhanced control compared to original equipment shocks. It is tuned for stock ride height vehicles and excels under both everyday driving and load/cargo conditions.

Fitment includes rear auxiliary positions on full-size Suburban and van applications, as well as auxiliary shock applications on earlier Chevy Blazer and GMC Jimmy 4WD trucks. The durable yellow corrosion-resistant finish and included protective boot help extend service life, while the Bilstein limited lifetime warranty gives added peace of mind. Sold individually, two shocks are generally required for a complete axle replacement when applicable.
