Product Description

The Bilstein 24-009294 B6 Performance rear shock absorber is designed as a direct replacement for a variety of classic General Motors rear suspension applications, especially GM A-Body and G-Body cars from the 1970s and 1980s. Built with a high-quality monotube gas pressure design and tuned valving, this shock improves damping consistency and overall vehicle stability compared to original equipment shocks. This results in better rear-end control, enhanced ride comfort, and more confident handling without altering the vehicle's stock ride height.

This rear shock pairs with the factory springs and installs into the original mounting points using bar pin and cantilever mounts. The durable protective finish and included blue straight boot help resist corrosion and environmental damage. Sold individually, two shocks are typically required for a complete rear suspension refresh, making this an excellent choice for restoration, maintenance, or performance-oriented upgrades on compatible classic GM vehicles.
