The Bilstein 24-166874 is a B6 Performance series monotube rear shock absorber engineered for the 2010-2017 Mercedes-Benz W212 E-Class sedan. This German-made damper replaces the factory twin-tube rear shock with a high-pressure monotube design that delivers firmer, more consistent damping across all driving conditions. Application-specific valve tuning matched to the W212 platform improves body control, reduces nosedive and squat under braking and acceleration, and sharpens steering response without requiring spring changes.
