Product Description

The Bilstein B6 Performance DampTronic 26-118260 is a rear shock absorber engineered as a performance upgrade for the 2005-2012 Porsche 911 (997 and 997.2) equipped with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management, option I475). Unlike generic replacements, this damper is fully compatible with the factory PASM electronic control system - all comfort and sport mode switching functions are preserved exactly as Porsche designed them, with no wiring changes or recalibration required. The upgrade is in the monotube gas pressure construction and Bilstein's application-specific valve tuning, which improves body control and handling response over the standard OE dampers.
