Fitment Notes

• Fits rear axle - Driver or Passenger Side (sold as a single unit; 2 required per vehicle).
• Designed for stock rear ride height - this is the correct rear shock for both unmodified H2s and those with front lift kits up to 2.5" (rear remains at stock height).
• Does NOT fit H2 models equipped with air ride or pneumatic suspension.
• Front companion shocks: 24-109369 (stock height front) or 24-186735 (B8 5100 lifted front, 0-2.5" lift).

Product Description

The Bilstein 24-185912 is a B6 4600 series rear shock absorber engineered for the 2003-2009 Hummer H2 SUV and SUT in 4WD and AWD configurations at stock rear ride height. Using Bilstein's patented 46mm monotube gas-pressure technology with velocity-sensitive digressive valving, this shock delivers consistent, fade-free rear damping that significantly outperforms worn or stock OEM units - especially under the heavy loads, towing demands, and off-road conditions the H2 was built to handle.

This rear shock is equally suitable for stock H2s and those running front lift kits of up to 2.5", since the rear suspension remains at stock height in those configurations. It is sold as a single unit - two are required for a complete rear shock replacement. This part does not fit H2 models equipped with air ride suspension. The front shock companion parts are 24-109369 (stock height) or 24-186735 (B8 5100, for 0-2.5" front lift).
