Product Description

The Bilstein 24-024198 is a B6 4600 series rear shock absorber engineered for the 1992-1999 Chevrolet and GMC K2500 Suburban in 4WD configuration at stock ride height. Using Bilstein's patented 46mm monotube gas-pressure technology with a velocity-sensitive digressive piston, this shock delivers consistent, fade-free rear damping that significantly outperforms the factory twin-tube units - especially under the heavy passenger loads, towing demands, and rough-road conditions these full-size SUVs regularly face.

This is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory rear shocks and is sold as a single unit - two are required for a complete rear shock replacement. The "K" designation confirms this is exclusively for 4WD models; the 2WD C2500 Suburban uses a different part number.
