Product Description

The Bilstein 24-021715 B6 4600 Series Rear Shock Absorber is a direct-fit performance replacement designed for the rear suspension of Chevrolet and GMC C1500 trucks from 1988 through 1999. Engineered with a gas-pressurized monotube design and velocity-sensitive digressive piston, this shock delivers smoother, more controlled damping performance than many original equipment shocks, helping improve ride comfort, stability, and handling in everyday driving or while towing.

Built to match stock ride height applications, this rear shock enhances vehicle control and reduces unwanted body motion. Its rugged construction and corrosion-resistant finish help extend durability, while the included protective boot shields the shock shaft from dirt and debris. Sold individually, two shocks are typically required for both sides of the rear axle to restore balanced suspension performance.
