Product Description

The Bilstein 24-067263 is a B4 OE Replacement front shock absorber for the 1997-2006 Jaguar XK8 and 2000-2010 Jaguar XKR, on vehicles without Adaptive Control Damping. This is the original equipment Bilstein shock used by Jaguar on the XK8 and XKR platforms -- a 46mm monotube gas pressure damper engineered to restore the precise, controlled ride quality these cars were known for when new. The B4 OE Replacement series is Bilstein's factory-specification replacement line, designed to match OE damping characteristics exactly rather than alter them, using the same gas pressure monotube technology Bilstein supplies to vehicle manufacturers worldwide.

Over time, the seals on the OE gas pressure shocks wear and allow gas to escape, degrading ride quality and handling precision. Replacing with the 24-067263 restores factory damping response without requiring any modification to the spring seat or mount hardware. The OEM spring seat is reused -- not included. Dust boot is not included. Not recommended for use with lowering springs. Does not fit ACD (Adaptive Control Damping) equipped vehicles or Brembo-optioned XKR variants.
