Product Description

The Bilstein 19-145570 is a B4 OE Replacement rear shock absorber for AWD variants of the Volkswagen Group PQ34 platform - specifically the Audi TT and TT Roadster (8N), Audi A3 Quattro (8L), Volkswagen Golf IV 4Motion, Seat Leon 4x4, and Seat Toledo II 4x4 with standard chassis suspension. This is an AWD-specific application: these vehicles use a fully independent multilink rear suspension rather than the torsion beam found on their FWD counterparts, and the shock absorber is specific to that configuration. Do not use this part for FWD Golf IV, Jetta IV, A3, or Seat Leon models.

Valve settings are developed by Bilstein engineers specifically for the rear multilink geometry, spring rates, and wheel travel characteristics of these AWD models - ensuring the correct damping match for both loaded and unloaded conditions. The upper mount uses an Eye 10mm connection and the lower mount uses an Eye 14.1mm connection, with a black straight boot included to protect the shaft.
