Product Description

The Bilstein 47-118478 is a B14 PSS coilover kit for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, covering all CT9A AWD variants -- EVO 8 (2003-2005) and EVO 9 (2006) across Base, MR, RS, and SE trims. The B14 PSS pairs Bilstein's monotube gas pressure dampers with application-matched progressive rate springs on a threaded body platform, allowing 40-50mm of ride height adjustment at both axles without requiring a fully adjustable damping system -- delivering coilover-style flexibility at a lower price point than Bilstein's fully adjustable B16 lineup.

The monotube damper design uses a larger piston surface area than a twin-tube shock for increased damping force and more consistent performance under heat. External components are protected by Triple-C Technology, a three-layer zinc-based coating developed for coilover corrosion resistance. Tuned by Bilstein engineers at the Nurburgring.
