The Bilstein 33-187112 is a B8 5125 series 46mm monotube shock absorber built for custom lifted truck, SUV, and Jeep applications where a direct vehicle-specific Bilstein fitment is not available. The nitrogen-charged monotube design with floating dividing piston delivers consistent, fade-free damping, while patented digressive self-adjusting disc valving automatically adapts to changing conditions -- smooth at highway speeds, firm over hard impacts. Measuring 16.50 inches extended and 11.10 inches collapsed with 5.40 inches of travel, it uses eye/eye mounts with 5/8-inch hourglass bushings for broad compatibility. The zinc-plated smooth body resists corrosion in harsh off-road environments. Sold individually. Manufactured by thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America in Poway, California.
