Product Description

The Bilstein 24-186643 B8 5100 front shock is engineered for 4WD GM 1500-series trucks (Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Avalanche) between model years 1999 and 2006. It's built to handle stock ride height or moderate lifts (up to about 2½") while delivering improved ride quality, better handling and consistent performance under load or rough terrain.

Featuring Bilstein's gas-pressurized monotube design, this shock reduces fade and delivers a firmer, more controlled ride without sacrificing comfort. The 46 mm piston, digressive valving and zinc-plated body make it particularly suitable for heavy use--whether towing, off-roading or daily driving. Installation is straightforward with no trimming or custom brackets needed, using the factory mounts. For a full front-end upgrade, replace both sides in pairs.
