Product Description

The Bilstein 24-185950 B8 5100 front shock absorber is engineered as a performance-oriented gas-charged shock designed specifically for lifted Chevrolet and GMC 1500-series trucks and SUVs - including Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Avalanche models from 1999 through 2006 (and Classic 1500 through 2007) with approximately 4-6" of front lift. Its monotube design and velocity-sensitive digressive piston deliver consistent, fade-free damping and improved handling on and off road compared to stock shocks.

Built to bolt directly into factory mounting points on lifted applications, the 24-185950 enhances ride control and steering response under load or varied terrain demands. The corrosion-resistant zinc plating and included black protective boot ensure long-lasting performance, while the tuned valving provides enhanced suspension control for larger tires and increased suspension travel. This shock is sold individually - install two for a complete front suspension upgrade.
