Product Description

The Bilstein 24-062466 is a B8 5100 Series rear shock absorber designed for 1999-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks with 2"-4" of rear lift. This high gas pressure monotube shock features a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving that provides independent rebound and compression damping, automatically adapting to changing road surfaces for maximum comfort and control on and off the road. The split compression and rebound valving is specifically tuned for the Ford Super Duty platform -- this is not a one-size-fits-all shock.

The monotube design runs cooler and more efficiently than twin-tube shocks for longer service life and fade-free performance under heavy hauling, towing, and sustained off-road use. The 2" seamless extruded body tube houses a 14mm centerless-ground, case-hardened, chromed, and super-polished piston rod for smooth, consistent operation.
