The Bilstein 24-185523 B8 5100 Series front shock absorber is engineered as a performance-oriented upgrade for lifted Ford trucks and SUVs. Featuring a monotube gas-charged design and a velocity-sensitive, digressive piston, this shock delivers consistent damping and improved control over stock components - especially when larger tires and increased suspension travel are present. Its corrosion-resistant zinc finish and included protective boot enhance durability in rugged conditions.

Built to bolt into front suspension mounting points, the 24-185523 is ideal for vehicles with approximately a 4" front lift, helping to maintain ride quality, steering control, and stability on and off road. Sold individually, it's recommended to install these shocks in pairs (left + right) for balanced suspension performance when replacing worn or stock units.
