Product Description

The Bilstein 33-062518 is a performance-oriented B8 5125 Series shock absorber engineered for classic off-road vehicles and custom suspension applications. Its high-gas pressure monotube design and self-adjusting deflective disc valving provide consistent, fade-free damping and responsive control over a range of terrain and driving conditions. The zinc-plated smooth body enhances corrosion resistance for long service life.

While primarily used in front and rear positions on 1960-1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 models (with up to ~2" lift) and 1959-1975 Jeep CJ5 (with up to ~1" lift), this shock also works well in custom or mild lifted suspension builds where similar dimensions and eye-to-eye mounts are needed. With a compact travel and robust damping, it's ideal for classic 4x4 restorations, mild off-road upgrades, and bespoke suspension projects.
