• 4WD models only. Does not fit RWD Ram 2500.

The Bilstein 24-302043 is a rear B8 5100 shock absorber built for 2019-2026 Ram 2500 4WD trucks running stock height or up to 1" of rear lift, without factory air leveling suspension. The B8 5100's off-road-oriented valve tuning delivers superior body control, reduced nose-dive during braking, and a more composed ride under towing and heavy-load conditions compared to the factory B6 4600-style street shock. The 46mm monotube gas-pressure design with nitrogen charge prevents oil foaming and ensures consistent damping performance even during extended heavy-duty use.

Installation is a direct bolt-on using factory mounting hardware with no modifications needed. For trucks at exactly stock height who prioritize on-road comfort, the Bilstein B6 4600 is the more appropriate choice; this B8 5100 is tuned for drivers who also off-road, tow heavy, or run slightly larger tires. For 2" of rear lift, Bilstein 24-285681 is the correct application. Always install in matched pairs for proper rear axle balance.
