Product Description

The Bilstein 24-268639 is a B8 5100 series monotube front shock absorber built specifically for 2014-2025 Ram 2500 4WD trucks running 2-2.5 inches of front lift. Unlike the OEM 4600-series replacement shocks designed for stock-height trucks, the 5100 series accounts for the increased suspension travel that comes with a leveling kit or mild lift, keeping the shock operating in its designed range rather than at the limits of its stroke. The monotube construction separates gas and oil into distinct chambers, eliminating aeration and maintaining consistent damping regardless of heat buildup from sustained off-road use or highway driving.

Bilstein's 46mm digressive piston and split compression/rebound valving are tuned per application -- not generic -- delivering improved ride quality, reduced body roll, and better handling response compared to both worn OEM shocks and generic aftermarket alternatives. Fits all 2014-2025 Ram 2500 4WD powertrains including the 5.7L V8 gas, 6.4L V8 gas, and 6.7L Cummins diesel. Sold individually.
