Product Description

The Bilstein 24-016179 is a B6 4600 series front shock absorber engineered for the 1986-1998 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD trucks (OBS generation) at stock ride height. Using Bilstein's patented 46mm monotube gas-pressure technology with a velocity-sensitive digressive piston, this shock delivers consistent, fade-free front damping that outperforms the factory twin-tube units - especially under the heavy loads, towing demands, and rough-road conditions these trucks are built for.

This is a direct bolt-on upgrade to the stock front shocks, using OEM mounting hardware with no modifications needed. It is sold as a single unit and fits either the driver or passenger side front position - two are required for a complete front replacement.
