The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus 35-252139 is a front driver-side strut assembly engineered for the 2013-2020 Ford Fusion across all trims - including standard, Hybrid, and Energi plug-in hybrid variants - in both FWD and AWD configurations. As a B8 Performance Plus damper, it is designed exclusively for use with aftermarket lowering springs and delivers the firmer, sport-oriented valving needed to keep a lowered Fusion controlled, flat, and responsive. Paired with the right springs, it sharpens handling, reduces body roll, and eliminates the vague, wallowy feel of OEM dampers under spirited driving.

Installation is a direct bolt-on at the OEM front left strut location across all Fusion body styles and powertrains. For owners running factory-height suspension, Bilstein's B6 Performance strut (35-252108) is the appropriate choice. For a lowered build, the 35-252139 is the correct part - matched with the right-side strut for a complete front upgrade.
