Product Description

The Bilstein 24-317757 B8 5100 Ride Height Adjustable front shock absorber is engineered specifically for 2004-2008 Ford F-150 and 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT trucks equipped with rear-wheel drive. It replaces the factory front coilover strut while adding the ability to lift the front of the vehicle between 0 and 2 inches using the truck's OE coil springs - eliminating the need for add-on spacers or leveling kits. Height adjustment is achieved by repositioning the spring seat in one of the multiple snap-ring grooves on the shock body.

Built around Bilstein's proven 46mm monotube design, this shock delivers responsive and fade-free damping through a digressive piston with a self-adjusting deflective disc valve. The monotube layout dissipates heat more efficiently than twin-tube shocks, maintaining consistent performance during extended off-road use or heavy hauling.
