Product Description

The BD Diesel 1030705 2Low UnLoc is a front differential disconnect controller for 2009-2024 Ram 1500, 2013-2024 Ram 3500, 2014-2024 Ram 2500, and 2019-2024 Ram 4500/5500 4WD trucks. In standard 4WD low range, the front and rear axles are locked together through the transfer case, which creates severe binding and u-joint hop during tight turns - making precise maneuvers like backing trailers, sharp off-road turns, or slow-speed crawling much harder. The 2Low UnLoc solves this by overriding the factory vacuum-actuated front differential, holding the front hubs in the free (2WD) position while the transfer case stays in low range. The result is full rear-axle torque with the low-range gear reduction, but with normal 2WD steering feel and turning radius.

Installation is plug-and-play under the glove box - no cutting, splicing, or firewall penetration needed. The included illuminated rocker switch mounts within the cab and gives the driver clear on/off control and a visual indicator of when the front axle override is active. Whether you're backing a heavy gooseneck into a tight alley, crawling a rocky trail, or maneuvering in a congested yard, the 2Low UnLoc gives you a capability that should have come from the factory.
