The BD Diesel 1043055 is a complete driver and passenger side exhaust manifold kit engineered for 2010-2022 Ford F-150, F-250, and F-350 trucks equipped with the 6.2L BOSS V8 gasoline engine. The factory Ford 6.2L exhaust manifolds are known for cracking, warping, and rusting over time - a failure mode driven by the OEM manifold's thin-wall construction and fasteners that are unable to absorb the thermal expansion and contraction cycles of the engine under sustained load. BD solves this with 0.275" uniform thick-wall cast iron manifolds that are 75% thicker than stock, paired with longer fasteners and spacers that dramatically reduce stress at the bolt mounting points.

Beyond durability, the BD manifolds also deliver a 10% increase in exhaust flow over factory units, improving exhaust scavenging efficiency across all operating conditions. A corrosion-resistant paint finish protects against the rust that plagues the factory manifolds.
