Product Description

The BBK 40280 is a pair of 1-3/4" shorty tuned-length exhaust headers in polished silver ceramic finish for the 2009-2023 Dodge Challenger R/T, 2009-2023 Dodge Charger R/T, and 2011-2023 Chrysler 300 equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8. These headers are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory exhaust manifolds, delivering 8-15 horsepower gains through unrestricted exhaust flow and improved scavenging. Each header is manufactured with 1-3/4" CNC mandrel bent tubing and 3/8" laser-cut exhaust flanges for strength and a guaranteed leak-free fit. The tuned-length design improves scavenging waves for better combustion, leading to increased performance and fuel economy over stock or equal-length headers.

Every BBK header is robotically and precision hand welded, then 100% pressure tested to ensure years of reliable, leak-free performance. The polished silver ceramic coating provides excellent resistance to corrosion and high temperatures while enhancing under-hood appearance. Designed for use with factory catalytic converters -- no modifications or re-tune required. Does not fit 2005-2008 Charger, Magnum, or Chrysler 300C -- those earlier LX platform vehicles require BBK 4012 or 40120. Does not fit AWD models. For the titanium ceramic finish, order BBK 4028.
