Product Description

The BBK 40090 Shorty Tuned-Length Headers deliver an estimated 15 horsepower and 15 ft-lbs of torque gain over factory exhaust manifolds for 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks with the 5.7L Hemi V8. Constructed from 16-gauge CNC mandrel-bent steel tubing with 1-3/4" primary tubes, these headers maximize exhaust flow while the tuned-length design improves exhaust scavenging for better combustion efficiency. The 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges provide a leak-free seal and resist warping. Each header is pressure tested and precision welded using a combination of robotic and hand TIG welding for consistent quality. The polished silver ceramic coating helps retain heat in the exhaust stream for improved velocity while reducing underhood temperatures. Direct bolt-on installation works with factory or aftermarket mid-pipes and exhaust systems. Designed, built, and tested in the USA. Gaskets and all necessary hardware included.
