The Banks Power 42710 Twin-Ram Intake Manifold System is engineered to dramatically improve airflow and performance on 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with the 5.9L Cummins 12-valve diesel engine. The factory single-outlet intake manifold creates an inherent airflow imbalance where cylinders 3, 4, and 5 receive more air than cylinders 1, 2, and 6, causing uneven temperatures and inconsistent power delivery. The Banks Twin-Ram solves this problem with a dual-inlet design that doubles the stock inlet area and splits incoming boost air into two separate channels for equal distribution to all six cylinders.
