The Banks 25970 Techni-Cooler Intercooler System is a purpose-built forced-induction upgrade for 1994-1997 Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the 7.3 L Powerstroke diesel engine. Stock configurations lacked an intercooler, which limited how much cool, dense air could reach the engine under boost. This Banks system combines large-volume, all-aluminum end tanks with 3" mandrel-bent boost tubes and an innovative Twin-Ram intake manifold assembly to deliver significantly more cool, dense air into the engine - which improves combustion, lowers exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), and enhances continuous power delivery.

With up to an 18 % increase in flow volume compared to restrictive stock paths, the Techni-Cooler helps reduce boost pressure loss, improve fuel economy, and stabilize power delivery under load.
