The Banks Power 42225 Ram-Air Intake System is engineered to enhance the performance of your 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 equipped with the 5.9L Cummins Diesel engine. By replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow, enclosed intake system, it increases airflow by up to 33%, resulting in improved throttle response, fuel efficiency, and reduced exhaust gas temperatures.

The system features a large conical air filter housed within a sealed enclosure to prevent hot engine air from entering the intake. The intake tube is designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimize airflow and accommodate engine movement, reducing the risk of component damage. Installation is straightforward, requiring no modifications, and the system is compatible with both oiled and dry filter elements to suit your maintenance preferences.
