Product Description

The Banks Power 42797 Monster-Ram Intake & Grid Heater Upgrade is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your 2007.5-2012 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Diesel engine. This system replaces the restrictive stock intake elbow and grid heater, resulting in an 88.3% increase in mass airflow. The redesigned high-flow vertical coil-style heater maintains cold start functionality while eliminating airflow obstructions.

Designed for optimal performance without increasing backpressure, the Monster-Ram system improves throttle response and overall engine efficiency. The inclusion of four 1/8" NPT ports allows for easy installation of temperature and pressure sensors, providing valuable data for performance monitoring. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in approximately 3 hours with basic hand tools.
