Fitment Notes

  • Emissions/CARB status is unclear from available sources: Banks' own product page includes a "race only" note, while a customer review claims 50-state compliance, and one retailer states it does not ship to California - confirm directly with Banks before ordering if CARB compliance matters for your state

Product Description

Banks' Ram-Air intake replaces the 6.7L Cummins' factory S-shaped snorkel and restrictive airbox with a straight-shot connection to the front scoop, feeding the turbo denser, cooler air validated through CFD modeling, flowbench testing, and on-truck runs. The lower intake restriction lets the turbo spin slower for the same boost, freeing up power otherwise lost to compressor work.

The XLPE housing's oversized internal volume acts as a reservoir of cool air shielded from engine bay heat, keeping density high even at a stoplight or under sustained towing load. For owners already running a Monster-Ram Intake Elbow and Boost Tubes, this intake is designed to be the one piece in the chain that won't act as a bottleneck.
