Vehicle Fitment

  • 2023½-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD (6.6L Diesel - L5P Duramax)
  • 2023½-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD (6.6L Diesel - L5P Duramax)
  • 2023½-2026 GMC Sierra 2500HD (6.6L Diesel - L5P Duramax)
  • 2023½-2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD (6.6L Diesel - L5P Duramax)

Fitment Notes

  • For trucks with TWO separate MAP sensors only - beginning in mid-2023, GM split the single MAP sensor into two separate sensors: a manifold temperature sensor (in the original MAP position) and a new manifold pressure sensor (in a lower position on the cast aluminum intake manifold). Verify your truck has both sensors before ordering
  • Early 2023 L5P Duramax trucks used the single-sensor configuration and require the Banks 64414 (single upper MAP sensor spacer) instead - do not order the 64415 for single-sensor trucks
  • This kit relocates both sensors - if you already own the Banks 64414 (upper sensor spacer only), you only need the lower sensor spacer to complete the dual-sensor setup
  • Not currently available for sale in California (undergoing emissions testing and review)
  • UPC: 801279644151

Features

  • Relocates both the manifold temperature sensor and manifold pressure sensor up and out of the soot-filled EGR/PCV exhaust stream, protecting both sensors from contamination
  • Prevents sticky oil vapor and recirculated exhaust gas from coating the sensors' delicate electronics - contaminated sensors cause inaccurate readings that reduce fuel economy and power output
  • Extends sensor cleaning and replacement intervals - eliminating the need for periodic sensor cleaning on high-mileage trucks
  • CNC-machined billet aluminum construction with black anodized finish for a clean, durable underhood appearance
  • Machined Banks Power logo for a premium factory-finished look
  • Installs in minutes with included stainless steel hardware - no permanent modifications
  • Ensures the ECM always receives accurate intake manifold pressure and temperature data for correct fuel calculations and air-fuel ratio management

Product Description

The Banks Power 64415 is a dual MAP sensor relocation spacer kit designed specifically for mid-2023 through 2026 Chevrolet and GMC 2500HD/3500HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L L5P Duramax diesel. Starting in mid-2023, GM redesigned the intake manifold sensor configuration, splitting the single MAP sensor into two separate sensors - a manifold temperature sensor in the original upper position, and a new manifold pressure sensor installed lower on the cast aluminum intake manifold. The 64415 kit addresses both sensors with a matched pair of billet aluminum spacers.

The L5P Duramax's EGR and PCV systems route recirculated exhaust gases and oil vapor back into the intake stream. Over time, this oily soot coats the MAP sensors' electronics, causing inaccurate pressure and temperature readings that lead the ECM to miscalculate fueling - reducing power output and fuel economy. By physically moving both sensors up and out of the contaminated intake flow path, the 64415 keeps the sensors clean and reading accurately without requiring periodic manual cleaning. The kit installs in minutes, requires no permanent modifications, and adds a machined Banks logo for a premium underhood appearance.

Important: This kit is only compatible with mid-2023 and later L5P trucks that have TWO sensor ports on the cast aluminum intake manifold. Trucks built before mid-2023 use a single MAP sensor and require the Banks 64414 (single spacer) instead. Verify sensor count on your intake manifold before ordering.
