Product Description

The Banks 42659 is a hydrophobic pre-filter wrap designed to protect the Banks 42259/42259-D Ram-Air filter element used on 2017-2019 GM L5P Duramax and 2019-and-newer Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks. Made from polyester mesh with consistent micron openings, it catches larger dirt and debris before it embeds in the main filter.

Washable and reusable, it extends time between filter services while repelling water and standing up to both extreme heat and freezing conditions. This is an add-on accessory - it requires the compatible Banks Ram-Air filter already installed to function.
