Product Description

Banks Monster Exhaust System, 5in DPF-back. Constant-diameter mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing pairs with a massive patented SideKick tip that virtually eliminates backpressure after the DPF, using a side-draft rocket nozzle-like design that sucks exhaust gasses out the end. Delivers 85% less backpressure than stock at the DPF and 9% less at the turbine inlet, unlocking more power and improved fuel economy.

A 15% reduction in exhaust temperature 2 feet behind the tip during regeneration protects trailers from heat damage, a common issue reported by Duramax owners during DPF cleaning cycles. The stock exhaust nozzle measures just 2.85in compared to the Monster Exhaust's massive 5in outlet, delivering 192% greater flow area than stock. Cerakote Black finish resists browning from heat exposure.
