Vehicle Fitment

  • Universal fit for all Banks Monster-Ram intake systems installed on Ram 6.7L Cummins diesel trucks - pickup (2500/3500) and Cab & Chassis (3500/4500/5500) across all applicable model years
  • Compatible Monster-Ram systems include: 42799, 42799-B, 42799-PC, 42800, 42800-N, 42804-N, 42804-R, 42805-N, 42805-R, 42806-N, 42806-R, and all other Banks Monster-Ram 6.7L Cummins variants

Fitment Notes

  • Add-on accessory only - the Banks 42807 requires an existing Banks Monster-Ram intake system; it does not install into the factory intake or any non-Banks intake manifold
  • The Monster-Ram kit already includes one 750-watt coil heater; the 42807 adds a second set of dual 750-watt coil heaters (1,500 additional watts) for a total heating capacity of 2,250 watts when combined with the stock Monster-Ram heater
  • For owners who only want to step up to a single additional 750-watt coil (total 1,500W with the included heater), see Banks 42830 (single 750W Dual Heater Upgrade Kit) instead
  • For a single additional 750-watt billet heater, see Banks 42809 (750W Coil Billet Heater Kit)
  • Cold start testing results (with block heat): 1,500W total → -30°F/-34°C; 2,250W total → -30°F/-34°C without block heat
  • Individual cold start results may vary depending on vehicle age and condition

Features

  • Adds 1,500 watts of billet coil heater capacity to any Banks Monster-Ram 6.7L Cummins intake system - maximum cold-start heating upgrade in a single kit
  • Dual 750-watt coil design - two independent coil heaters packaged together for a combined 1,500-watt supplemental heating upgrade
  • Billet construction - premium machined components for a cleaner, more durable installation than standard coil heater kits
  • Coil heaters mount vertically inside the Monster-Ram without obstructing airflow - same non-restrictive design as the original included heater
  • Easy bolt-on installation - plugs into the existing Monster-Ram heater wiring provisions; no cutting or splicing required
  • Designed around RAM's cold-start block heater recommendations per the owner's manual - engineered for severe cold climates where maximum intake air pre-heating is essential for reliable starts
  • Eliminates the need for block heat down to -20°F/-29°C when running 1,500W total coil heat

Product Description

The Banks Power 42807 is a 1,500-watt supplemental billet coil heater kit for Banks Monster-Ram intake systems on 6.7L Cummins diesel trucks. It consists of two 750-watt billet coil heaters packaged together, adding 1,500 watts of additional intake air heating capacity to any Monster-Ram system that already includes the standard 750-watt coil heater. When the 42807 is installed alongside the Monster-Ram's stock heater, the total system heating output reaches 2,250 watts - the maximum supplemental configuration tested by Banks.

Banks cold-start testing in a controlled climate chamber demonstrated that 1,500 watts total (stock Monster-Ram heater + Banks 42830 single upgrade) enabled reliable cold starts down to -30°F/-34°C with block heat, and -20°F/-29°C without block heat. Stepping up to 2,250 watts total (with the 42807 kit) achieved -30°F/-34°C cold starts without block heat. These results align with RAM's owner's manual recommendations, which call for block heater use below 0°F/-17°C and mandate it below -20°F/-29°C - the Banks heater stack provides a meaningful safety margin beyond factory cold-start parameters for severe-climate operators.

The 42807 is the maximum single-kit billet heater upgrade for Monster-Ram systems. For those needing only a single additional 750-watt coil (bringing the total to 1,500W), see Banks 42830. For a single additional 750-watt billet heater, see Banks 42809. A Banks Monster-Ram intake system is required - this kit does not fit factory or non-Banks intake manifolds.
