Product Description

The Banks 42804-R Monster-Ram is a Dual Heat Capable intake elbow engineered specifically for the 2013-2018 Ram 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab's 6.7L Cummins, improving Mass Air Flow by 88% over the restrictive stock intake -- from 38.6 lbs/min to 72.7 lbs/min. This system raises boost without increasing turbine drive pressure, delivering a more responsive, power-efficient engine with real headroom for the heavy hauling and work-duty demands Chassis Cab trucks are built for.

The included High-Flow Killer Grid Heater and Billet Intake Plate replace the factory heater's failure-prone grid plate -- a well-documented catastrophic failure point where the stock heater's stud and nut can come loose, roll into cylinder #6 due to the engine's 5° rake, and cause complete engine failure requiring a full rebuild. The factory heater simply can't fail if it's not there.

Finished in Banks' signature red powdercoat, this Chassis Cab-specific variant is also compatible with Dual Alternator engines and retains all OEM emissions equipment. Note that CARB EO approval is currently pending for this specific Chassis Cab version, so it cannot yet ship to California. This system does not fit regular (non-Chassis Cab) trucks; those owners should look to Banks part number 42798-PC instead.
