The Banks 19249 Ram-Air Differential Cover Kit is a patented, performance-engineered replacement for the factory differential cover on AAM 11.5" and 11.8" 14-bolt rear axles found in 2001-2019 Chevrolet/GMC HD trucks and 2003-2018 Ram 2500/3500 diesels and gas trucks. Unlike flat-back high-capacity covers that disrupt fluid dynamics and create a dead air zone behind the differential, Banks' Ram-Air scoop design forces cool, high-velocity air directly through 24 heat radiation fins - delivering proven cooling that is 5x better than flat-back covers in real-world towing conditions and 118% better in sustained 200 HP testing.

The A380 aircraft aluminum diecast construction with CNC machined surfaces provides exceptional strength without added weight, while internal FlowThru Fins pull heat from the fluid and transfer it through the cover body for maximum efficiency. Maintenance is simplified with a magnetic drain plug, 20-degree angled fill port, and a sight glass for monitoring fluid level and condition without cover removal. A dry-mount silicone O-ring seal eliminates the mess of RTV gasket material.
